Shop Assistant – Koala Mowers (Emu Plains)
Koala Mowers is a family-owned outdoor power equipment business based in Emu Plains. We sell and service leading brands including Bushranger, Greenworks, Cox, Wright, Scag, and Rato. With our workshop and showroom continuing to grow, we are seeking a reliable and motivated Shop Assistant to join our team.
About the Role:
The Shop Assistant will provide customer service in our retail showroom and support the day-to-day operations of the business. This position suits someone who is friendly, organised, and enjoys helping customers find the right product or service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with product enquiries and purchases
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
- Maintain a clean and well-presented showroom
- Assist with stock control, unpacking deliveries, and merchandising
- Provide general administrative support, including answering phones and booking in repairs
- Support the workshop team when required
About You:
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn about outdoor power equipment
- A team player with a positive attitude
